Who is responsible

Nordine SLIMANI EI (SIRET 839 791 399 00026), contact@bctxt.com, is the data controller for this site, the waitlist and members who join in their own name during the private alpha. When an organisation deploys bctxt to its leaders, it will be the controller and Nordine SLIMANI EI the processor, under a data processing agreement. That mode is not open yet.

Requesting access

The form opens your email application with a message to contact@bctxt.com. We keep your address to contact you about access, with your consent, for twelve months at most. No cookies, no trackers on bctxt.com.

Your account

Invitation by email; a password; and, if you sign in with LinkedIn, the name, photo and email LinkedIn provides (OpenID Connect). Sign-in runs on our identity server, hosted with the service.

Your own LinkedIn data

With your consent, bctxt reads your own data through LinkedIn's Member Data Portability API: profile, positions, education, skills and certifications; your posts, reshares and articles; the companies, organisations and groups you follow; your comments, with other people's names removed. Never your messages, connections, searches, job applications, reactions or other people's posts. The exact list is shown before you agree. Purpose: to understand what you know, what you write about and how you write. The import runs when you connect and when you ask for a refresh.

Publishing on LinkedIn

If you authorise it (openid, profile, w_member_social), bctxt posts through LinkedIn's Posts API only when you press Publish on a draft you have read. Never likes, comments, follows or messages. The token is encrypted and deleted when you disconnect.

Public sources

RSS feeds and public pages of regulators, official bodies and specialised press, chosen for your topics, plus web searches built from your company, sector and public role. Articles are kept 90 days.

Hosting, retention, deletion

The service runs on a server rented from OneProvider; tokens are encrypted; operator access to raw data is exceptional and logged; logs are kept 90 days. Disconnecting LinkedIn deletes the tokens. Disconnect and delete, under Settings, also deletes the imported LinkedIn material. Closing your account purges your private data within 30 days, immediately on request; the record of your consents is kept.

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability under the GDPR: contact@bctxt.com. You can also revoke bctxt from your LinkedIn settings, and complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr). Legal bases: consent (waitlist, LinkedIn data), the service you asked for (account, drafts, publishing), legitimate interest (security, logs).
